CKL’s leadership team continues to evolve, with three managers adding associate to their list of credentials.
Auckland planning manager Daniel Brown, environmental team manager Andrew Dow and Hamilton survey manager Adam Musa join the company’s existing associates in progressing their careers.
CKL’s associate programme, launched in 2011, is designed to acknowledge, promote and support high-performing employees that align with the company’s purpose to support sustainable development that shapes strong communities for the future.
“Being asked to join the programme is recognition of the considerable skills and expertise each of them bring to their roles in CKL’s management team, and their ability to lead our team of planners, surveyors and engineers in delivering impressive results for our clients,” says board chair Geoff Webster.
“The programme provides associates with the opportunity to start formulating and moving company strategy forward at a higher level, so when they do make the next progression, they are well-prepared.
“It also encourages associates to build their networks and their own individual footprint both within and outside their respective specialties.”
Andrew came to CKL after working overseas extensively in multi-disciplinary teams ensuring quality water resources, and leads our environmental engineering team in developing innovative thinking to create sustainable solutions.
Daniel has strong project management experience, and before joining CKL he gained varied development expertise working in the UK and at Auckland Council. As Auckland planning manager, he is responsible for the coordination, management and leadership of the team.
After joining CKL as a graduate, Adam has thrived under CKL’s high performance culture; after just over four years working in the survey team he stepped up to Hamilton survey manager in 2021.
“We’re pleased to see our new associates span three different disciplines, and in particular Andrew’s appointment marks our first environmental engineering associate,” says Geoff.
“It’s clear that CKL’s future remains in great hands with these new associates, as well as our two new directors.”
