CKL are thrilled to announce the approval of another resource consent for Gemscott, 307 Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri.
Gemscott are a New Zealand-wide development firm that focuses on developing homes suitable for all New Zealanders. CKL and Gemscott have a strong long-standing relationship that has continued to grow, producing a variety of high-quality housing developments across the North Island.
307 Kerikeri Road consists of 10 two-storey duplex units, making this development the first two-storey dwellings to be approved for consent in the surrounding environment. This approval aligns with the National Policy Statement on Urban Development by achieving a higher level of intensification near town centres, and highlights a focus on walkability and sustainability in the area.
CKL provided input for all fields of the consenting process including planning, surveying, civil and environmental engineering, and transportation services. CKL has already begun working on a multitude of upcoming residential developments for Gemscott that will be announced shortly.
