With Auckland Council's intent on understanding how the city’s beach profiles are changing over time, a team of CKL surveyors were engaged to undertake sand profile monitoring across the wider Auckland region. This will ensure any changes in Auckland’s sought-after beach hotspots are well understood, helping Auckland Council to manage them to provide for a wide range of benefits and uses.
Covering beaches as far north as Orewa, down to Waiuku on the Auckland-Waikato border, our surveying team has been out in the field conducting surveys for this brief – getting the job done, rain or shine!
