We’ve welcomed back a familiar face to the CKL team: Teryll Lemmins as a Senior Planner.
Teryll previously worked at CKL between 2016-2019 as a Resource Management Planner. In 2019 Teryll moved home to the Eastern Bay of Plenty and worked as a Senior Project Planner for the Whakatane District Council, where she developed an understanding of the inner workings of local government. Throughout her time with the council, Teryll also gained experience in emergency response as part of the council’s functions for Emergency Management.
Alongside working at WDC, Teryll undertook her Masters of Science in Geography. During her studies, Teryll created a toolbox to test whether there was a manageable way to create an assessment of the geomorphic health of a river.
Teryll is looking forward to working on a range of planning projects for CKL and is particularly interested in getting stuck into those that cross over urban design and environmental management, including stormwater, infrastructure, earthworks, and discharges associated with land uses and development.
Still based out of beautiful Whakatane, Teryll works remotely and travels to the Waikato when needed. Welcome back Teryll!
