Awanui is 4 stage, 46 lot rural residential subdivision set in Reid Road, Ngahinapouri.
The site is an old orchard and is adjacent to a grass runway. These features have provided the inspiration of the road names being Pilot Drive and Orchardist Way.
The Mangahia Stream borders the subdivision to the north and the Ngahinapouri golf course to the east. These, in addition to the stunning views of Mt Pirongia and proximity to Pirongia, Te Awamutu, Ohaupo and Hamilton, make this subdivision a very desirable place to live.
CKL were involved at the very start of the subdivision process, providing the resource management planning for the structure plan that was needed to rezone the land from rural to large lot residential. Our planners subsequently applied for a staged subdivision consent which is now in the process of being implemented.
CKL’s civil and environmental engineers provided design services for the civil works and subsequently the contract administration and management during construction. Our land surveyors have completed the Land Transfer surveys for Stages 1 - 3 which are now complete. Stage 4 is earmarked for construction in 2022.
