The Banks Rd subdivision, located at the southern end of Matamata, comprised 45 new residential sections. Our team designed an innovative and sustainable stormwater solution to accommodate stormwater discharge for a ‘one in a 100 year storm event’. This included the installation of rain gardens within the berms adjacent to the road and a large soakage trench to serve all the sections. Our civil engineers managed the construction contract award process and supervised construction works to ensure compliance with Matamata Piako District Council’s development standards.
