A 12 hectare greenfield residential subdivision on the outskirts of Hamilton. This project led by Everton Heights Limited has been in development over several years.
The project involves approximately 150 lots over defined stages. Stages 1 and 2 with 40 lots have been delivered and residential construction is underway on site.
Initially the project was led by planning, now CKL is delivering civil engineering and environmental design services for stages 3 and 4.
The site topography required significant raising in parts and included challenging stormwater management issues, working within integrated management catchment plans ahead of significant public infrastructure works.
Innovative stormwater solutions were developed as interim steps to allow the development to keep the project progressing. Retaining wall structures to hold fill and enhance the visual appeal of the development were carefully considered and applied.
Construction of stage 3 is planned to commence over 2022.
