This 92-lot greenfield subdivision at Kewa Road in close proximity to Albany town centre is a truly multi-disciplined project with CKL providing a full range of land development services.
This included the private plan change application, topographic survey, subdivision design, resource consent application, detailed design for engineering plan approval, stormwater and environmental design, construction contract management, and land transfer surveying services.
The project included 300,000m3 of bulk earthworks, 7,000m2 of roading including the widening of an existing road, and 4.5km of public drainage for stormwater and wastewater management.
A central raingarden was incorporated into the design to filter and treat stormwater before discharge to an existing stream.
The lots, ranging in size from 500m2 to 4500m2, are being released in stages to meet exceptional demand for quality housing development in the progressive Albany area.
The release of the first 3 stages saw building work quickly progressed following acquisition of titles and with residents now well established in this fantastic new neighbourhood, the final release of the Stage 4 lots will see completion of the subdivision.
CKL provided a comprehensive range of services including project management, civil engineering design, stormwater management, resource consenting and topographic surveying.
