Judith Makinson prepared and delivered expert witness evidence for NZ Fieldays as submitters against a Plan Change, proposed by Hamilton Airport. This proposed Plan Change would have impacted public access to the Hamilton Fieldays site and required considerable liaison with Hamilton Airport. The outcome ensured suitable and ongoing access to the Fieldays site under event conditions is maintained, with the Commissioner commending all parties involved in the process on their genuine collaboration is reaching an agreed position acceptable to all before the hearing was held.
