Barry joined CKL in Sept 2018 to lead the Hamilton-based team of professional surveyors and engineers. He has a wealth of experience, having worked as an engineering consultant and contractor for over 10 years, and prior to this had worked in various civil engineering roles in the South Island.

As a Chartered Professional Engineer with a strong reputation in the industry, Barry works also with Engineering New Zealand to conduct assessments of competence for engineers seeking their Chartership.
Barry was attracted to CKL both for the diversity of work and the opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic team.
In his spare time, he enjoys family time and plays golf.
